Building Science 1

This module is an introduction to the factors that affect the thermal performance of buildings. Its aim is to facilitate students to create acceptable designs which are sustainable and comfortable. The emphasis is on creating acceptable indoor thermal conditions thus minimizing the use of space heating and cooling. This module only have one project which is analysing about the passive design strategies from self selected building. My group chosen Seksan Design Office to analyse. 

Project 1 - Passive Design Strategy 

This assignment requires student to find a building to study about the passive design strategy. We have chosen Seksan Design Office to study and analyse, as the owner which is a landscape architect that famous for applying passive design in all his projects. From this assignment I have learned about thinking and problem solving skills which is to think critically and creatively, after that define and analyse problems to arrive at effective and solutions.
