PROJECT 1 - Pre-Design Studies & Analysis

As a group, students are required to go to the site to perform investigation and analysis. In this pre-design phase, students are required to conduct studies on contextual conditions of the site, local codes & pertinent guidelines. Students are required to apply the urban analytical techniques that have learned throughout the whole Architectural Studio Studies. The group presentation should show a comprehensive understanding of people and place that they are to design for.

PROJECT 2 - Final Design Presentation & Portfolio

For this semester, the site is located at Johor Bahru. The site is between Jalan Wong Ah Fook and Jalan Trus, with the strategic locations, this site is the potential to become a new node or landmarks for the community to gather there and have activity. Students should also integrate considerations for technology, environment, and cultural aspect through a finalized architectural design.
